THROATCUT. intricately weaves a narrative of personal struggle, resilience, and raw authenticity. Emerging from the ashes of a previous project, the band was born out of a desire to pursue a more visceral, authentic and unfiltered creative vision. THROATCUT.’s music delves deep into an odyssey of confronting external adversaries and internal demons, resonating with themes of defiance, vulnerability, and redemption in an ambivalent world of freedom and dependence. Their fearless storytelling and immersive soundscapes create a cathartic experience, allowing listeners to explore the darker, often hidden corners of the human emotion.

German heavy hitters ACCVSED are back with a vengeance. Their latest single, “Make Sure It Hurts,” is a no-holds-barred gut punch of fury, following hot on the heels of their breakout tracks that have been tearing through the underground metal scene. After turning heads with their previous hit singles — each one sharper and more unapologetic than the last — “Make Sure It Hurts” feels like the natural next step in ACCVSED’s evolution. Armed with spine-snapping breakdowns, razor-wire riffs, and vocals soaked in venom, the band makes it clear: they’re not here to play nice. The track blends their signature blend of metalcore chaos with a calculated aggression that cuts deeper than ever before. Lyrically raw and emotionally charged, it taps into themes of betrayal, rage, and the catharsis that comes from embracing pain rather than running from it.With this release, ACCVSED further solidify their place as one of Germany’s most uncompromising new voices in heavy music. If the previous singles lit the fuse, “Make Sure It Hurts” is the full-on detonation.Turn it up, bite down, and let it hurt.

September 26, 2025 will see Swedish extraordinary metal collective, Curse Of Cain, release their hotly-anticipated, second studio album, "Achtung!", via ROAR (Grave Digger, Mystic Circle, Holy Moses, Crematory a.o.). Following previously-released songs, "Candy Cain Murder", "Starry Eyes", "Feel the Pain" and the epic album title track, today, Curse Of Cain have shared a video clip for their latest single "Tik Tok (Darkness)"! "I’ve taken clocks apart, gear by gear, hunting for mercy in the machinery," says drummer The Mechanic. "But there’s no escape in metal. Only echoes. Only the ticking." "The whispers in the night? That’s time, unraveling the lie of peace," Rainbow (percussions/ vocals) adds. "I’ve heard them since birth — and they never stop. Not really."
Marilyn Manson's U.K. tour opening show in Brighton, England on October 29 was canceled following protests from government officials and the No Stage for Abusers campaign. The cancellation came after a series of allegations of domestic abuse and sexual assault surfaced against Manson, with over a dozen women, including Evan Rachel Wood and Esmé Bianco, accusing him of abuse. Despite Manson's denial and the Los Angeles prosecutors dropping the case, the online campaign and the efforts of Green Party MP Siân Berry led the cause to have the shock rocker’s Brighton Centre show called off. Additionally, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council leader Millie Earl is also calling for a possible cancellation of Manson's show at Bournemouth International Centre on October 31. “I don’t feel Marilyn Manson reflects the values we have in BCP,” she wrote. “So I have asked that BH Live reconsider hosting Marilyn Manson later this year.” (Rolling Stone)
Evanescence has achieved its first-ever No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their new single "Afterlife," which is featured in the Netflix series Devil May Cry. This rise to the top of Mainstream Rock Airplay ends a 22-year wait for a chart-topping hit for the Little Rock, Arkansas-based band. This marks the longest wait for a No. 1 hit by a group in the chart's history, after Evanescence first reached the list with “Bring Me to Life” (featuring Paul McCoy), which peaked at No. 11 in May 2003. This No. 1 hit surpasses their previous best on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart when "Call Me When You’re Sober" reached No. 5 in 2006. "Afterlife" also climbed to No. 3 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, reaching an audience of 4.2 million impressions, and rose to No. 23 on the Alternative Airplay chart. The track also reached No. 10 on the multimetric Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, while earning 892,000 official U.S. streams. (Billboard)
