BACK TO THE ARENA
From 2020 through 2024, Back To The Arena was a syndicated radio show that aired on over 70 radio stations globally. It was hosted by DCtheDJ. The show played the biggest hair metal songs and the deep cuts of the 1980s and 1990s. It also featured the newer sound of hair metal, melodic rock. Also known as AOR, power rock and similar.
Each week, our host would have an exclusive interview on the show from a band making music fitting of the show. These were from the bands of the glory hair metal years of 1980-1994, and from newer bands making music today.
The show was cancelled due to health reasons of the host and producer, along with his radio career hosting on and producing 9 digital radio stations. After some interest from former stations asking if it would ever come back... our host and producer, who now simply goes by DC (dropping "theDJ"), thought... why not? However, due to issues with stations signing up for the show, receiving access to files, and not playing the current week's show, not playing it at the time they said they would, or some, not even playing the show at all - while we promoted them on the website, we decided, IF we are to bring the show back... there would have to be a small cost involved. Not only to insure stations were serious about playing it when they said they would, but to cover the costs on our end.
Now we aren't talking about breaking the bank... simply $8 a month, or $96 a year... which comes to about $1.85 an episode.
So our question at this time would be... would you pay that small fee for a well produced 2 hour show, delivered via dropbox in 4 segments of around 26-28 minutes each?
