Unto Others - September 30, 2026 (Mesa, AZ)

The bands that sweep through the Nile Theater in Mesa have never let me down. The show on September 30th brought that fact to light once more for me.

Opening for Castle Rat, the gothic rock and metal band, Unto Others, stepped onto stage rocking all black with true punk confidence. Throughout the crowd I saw plenty of fans rocking their merch and knew I was in for a treat.

Vocalist and guitarist, Gabriel, blew me away with his deep vocals, and moody songs. His powerful voice paired with the lead guitarist and bassist intertwining themselves with fans at the edge of the stage, the band gave us an enthusiastic performance, with plenty of head banging and string shredding that was jaw dropping. This band has a passion for what they create and do that is truly authenticate.

The way the band interacted with each other and the fans created new memories for many fans that were there. Between being up close and personal with those rocking out at the front, jamming alongside each other, and the drummer hyping the crowd up between songs, Unto Others is a one-of-a-kind performance for those who love contemporary metal mixed with punk riffs and a stage presence of true rock stars.
