Chloe Moriondo
The Van Buren (Phoenix, AZ)
October 9, 2026
Chloe Moriondo and Cavetown, a dynamic duo who go hand in hand, are performing together and brought the Running With Scissors tour to Phoenix. Both artists bring a welcoming, openly queer vibe that made the venue feel like home. With the crowd already dancing and singing along to the pre-show music curated for the night, the energy radiated the walls.
Cavetown has been creating music for over a decade now, and their setlist covered everything in between then and now. As an old fan, I was so excited to finally sing along to old songs of their’s, like Juliet, while getting to experience new hits off their new album from this year, Running With Scissors.
Their interaction with their fans was heart warming and refreshing to see. Between the waves, heart hands, direct smiles, and points, you can tell Cavetown cherishes their fans. Letting us know about the meaning behind Baby Spoon, dedicated to their partner, and Micah, a touching song about their newest sibling! Cavetown brought out Chloe for one more song, Sailboat, and the crowd couldn’t get enough. The energy they brought to Phoenix was phenomenal and memorable.
