Quadeca brought his Life1 tour to Mesa as his first stop featuring his newest studio album that dropped earlier this month.

Quadeca started out on Youtube, making his first project at just 14, and the expansion of his music through the years has been impactful. Producing a story-telling film following his last album, alongside collaborating with other artists to create experimental projects that break the barriers of what we've seen in the music scene so far, Lasky never stops.

Life1 explores Quadeca's interpretation of what it means to be alive. Experimenting with alternative sounds is what gives Quadeca's music that special touch. Being able to see that process live as the first stop of the tour was truly special.

Starting out at his piano, Quadeca introduced the first live debut of Life 1 (where did the time go) and kept the crowd hooked for the entire show, alternating between his newest album and other well known hits of his from past albums. Apparently the dislike of Regular guy is apparent in his fan base, mostly as a running joke, as he called out the fans.. But do they not realize he's just a regular guy? Come on. After that public call out, he brought out Autumn, one of the openers on this tour, better known as Oleka, to play the flute and harmonize alongside him for some songs. Between the warm interactions between Quadeca and his fans, signing something for a fan in the front row mid-show, and the raw emotion and vulnerability he put into his performance, playing songs like MONDAY and gutting lyrics found in songs from I Didn't Mean To Haunt You, his performance is something you cannot miss.

The artistic details during his show, with a lit up keyboard backdrop adding a colorful flare to highlight multiple songs, is something you shouldn't skip out on. Quadeca is an artist who has an array of talents that give his music and performance an alternative take on how media can be consumed. His ability to turn his music into something nihilistically rebellious, and still portray a unique sound that flows beautifully through every album he puts out is a talent rarely seen, and an experience I will never forget.
