Sevendust - September 16, 2026 (Tempe, AZ)

Return to Dust got things started with a hard-hitting set that warmed up the crowd nicely. The young Los Angeles band brought plenty of energy and showed they were more than ready for a room full of rock fans.

Theory of a Deadman followed with a set that mixed their heavier rock side with the catchy, radio-friendly sound that has helped keep the band around for more than two decades. Tyler Connolly was in good form throughout the performance, keeping the crowd involved and giving the room plenty of chances to sing along.

Then came Sevendust, and the energy immediately went up another notch. Lajon Witherspoon remains one of those frontmen who can command a room without having to work too hard at it. His vocals sounded great, and the chemistry between the members was obvious throughout the set.

The combination of Sevendust's heavier sound and Theory of a Deadman's more accessible rock made for a well-balanced night. The Marquee's smaller setting also worked in the tour's favor, giving fans a much more up-close experience than they would get in a larger venue.

Overall, it was a straight-up rock and roll night in Tempe. Three bands, a packed room and plenty of loud guitars made the September 16 show a solid night out for anyone who likes their rock with a little muscle behind it.
