Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty To London Nightclub Assault Charge

On Friday (June 20), Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm with intent in a London courthouse. The singer is accused of attacking music producer Amadou “Abe” Diaw with a tequila bottle in a nightclub in 2023. Brown is also facing two additional charges – for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and another for carrying an offensive weapon –  with his trial scheduled for October 2026 after a follow-up hearing on July 11. Released on $6.7 million bail after a brief jail stint in Manchester back in May, Brown has since resumed his summer world tour, which began with a series of U.K. and European dates, and is scheduled to arrive in North America in late July. Rapper HoodyBaby, Brown’s longtime friend and collaborator, was also charged in connection to the incident, and pleaded not guilty to the assault charge against him on Friday. (Rolling Stone)

Addison Rae Announces 2025 ‘The Addison Tour’ Dates

On Tuesday (June 17), Addison Rae announced the dates and details of her first headlining world tour, The Addison Tour. The 24-date jaunt features scheduled stops throughout the U.K., Europe, North America, and Australia, to showcase the pop star’s debut album, Addison, which debuted at No. 4 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart. “THE ADDISON TOUR IS REALLY REAL!!!!!!,” Rae wrote in the caption of her tour annoucement. “I can’t believe I get to sing and dance for you (and with you) this Fall. Are you coming? 🎀🌷🍭💕⚖️💎” The Addison Tour kicks off in Dublin on August 26, and hits major cities like London, Paris, and Berlin. The North American leg begins on September 22 in Austin, Texas, and finishes on October 19 in Los Angeles, while hitting Nashville, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Toronto, and Chicago along the way. Good Charlotte Announces First New Album In Seven Years, ‘Motel Du Cap’

On Monday (June 16), Good Charlotte revealed that they are finally releasing their long-awaited eighth album, titled Motel Du Cap, on August 8. The band shared the news with a mysterious billboard on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles that featured a picture of the band along with the album title and date, with no other information provided. This marks the band’s first full-length album since 2018’s Generation Rx, and follows the release of their most recent single, "Last December," in 2020. Since then, band leaders and brothers Joel and Benji Madden have focused on various business ventures outside of music, including the livestream platform Veeps, Joel’s Artist Friendly podcast, and an artist management company called MDDN. In May, Good Charlotte reunited at Welcome to Rockville for their first show since 2023, where Benji told the crowd, “We got a record coming out in August, we’ll be on tour.” The band have a series of upcoming festival appearances scheduled, including Ocean’s Calling and Aftershock. The B-52’s And Devo Announce Co-Headlining ‘Cosmic De-Evolution Tour’

On Monday (June 16), New Wave icons the B-52’s and Devo announced that they are set to  embark on the co-headlining Cosmic De-Evolution Tour this fall. The 11-date run kicks off on September 24 in Toronto, and concludes on November 2 in Houston, while hitting Mansfield, Massachusetts, Los Angeles, Charlotte, and Austin, Texas along the way, with Lene Lovich serving as the opening act for all dates. “When both of our bands performed at the recent SNL 50 concert at Radio City, we started talking and agreed we had to do these shows,” the B-52’s Cindy Wilson said. “Believe or not, we’ve never done more than a festival or two together in all this time. This will be amazing and I can’t wait for The B-52s to share these stages with Devo!” Tickets for the tour go on sale to the public on Friday (June 20), with pre-sales beginning on Monday (June 16). Jonas Brothers Downgrade Six Stadium Shows For Smaller Venues On 20th Anniversary Tour

On Friday (June 13), the Jonas Brothers announced the cancellation of six upcoming stadium concerts, opting to downscale their Jonas20: Living the Dream Tour to smaller venues on the same dates. Fans will need to purchase new tickets for the revised shows, but those who had tickets to the canceled concerts will receive immediate refunds, as well as priority pre-sale access to the new shows. The band's August 12 show at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., will now be at Jiffy Lube Live, while their August 14 gig at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia has been moved to the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. Their August 26 concert at Wrigley Field in Chicago will instead take place at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in the suburb of Tinley Park, while their August 28 show at Comerica Park in Detroit will now happen at Little Caesars Arena. Their August 31 show at Globe Life Field in Dallas will now be held in the Dos Equis Pavilion, and their September 6 concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles will now take place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. On Monday (June 9), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia announced the dates and details of their joint 2025 Thuggish-Ruggish-Mafia Tour of North America. The 24-date run will hit amphitheaters throughout the U.S. and Canada this summer and fall, and will feature special guest opening acts Tech N9ne and DJ Quik. The tour starts on August 21 in Rogers, Arkansas, stopping in cities including St. Louis, New York, Nashville, Dallas, and Houston, before concluding in Concord, California on October 4. Macklemore’s Seattle Home Robbed By Thieves Who Bear-Sprayed His Nanny

Just after midnight on Saturday (June 7), Macklemore's Seattle home was burglarized by intruders who bear-sprayed his nanny. The thieves stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, shoes, and luxury watches, all while the Grammy-winning rapper’s three children were sleeping inside the home. The burglars entered through a patio door and maced the nanny who was caring for the children and stole her phone, but she eventually bit one of the criminals and managed to escape to seek help from neighbors and call 911. Police eventually arrived at the scene after the burglars – whose identities were hidden behind face masks, gloves and tactical vests – fled the home. Authorities safely brought Macklemore’s kids, who were unharmed, to the care of another family member. Macklemore was performing in Ireland at the time of the robbery, and has not released an official statement about the incident as of yet. (Billboard)
