Country traditionalist, singer and independent recording artist Dave Wilbert is readying to premiere his vibrant new music video for his 90’s style country rocker, “Live From America (It’s Saturday Night),” the title track from his recently released debut album out now by Willbilly Records. The video will digitally premiere Friday, July 25 at 10am EST on Dave’s YouTube channel ahead of its TV Premiere by The Heartland Networkat 5:30pm EST|PST. The hip new video was shot, produced and directed by Karl Weidmann of Southern Cabin Films will also debut on American Country Network beginning on July 29th at 7:17am & 11:42pm EST.
Live From America (It’s Saturday Night) the album also recently surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify within its first 30 days of being released.
“This is one of those songs when you first hear it you feel like you’ve heard it before and can sing right along to every word,” Wilbert said. “It's my own little country anthem straight from the heartland of America, which is where I grew up. The video captured the spirit of the song really well.”
Celebrating the nostalgia of American farm life, songwriters on the twelve track album include Dave Wilbert, Kerry Kurt Phillips (George Strait, Tim McGraw, Craig Morgan), Phil O’Donnell (George Strait, Blake Shelton, Montgomery Gentry), Jason Matthews (Billy Currington, Trace Adkins) Doug Supernaw, among others. It was produced by Eddie Blount, Dave Wilbert, Julian King and recorded at Black River Studios and Ridge High Studios in Nashville.
“If you’ve ever spent any time at a bonfire or a barbecue or anything like that, ‘Live From America (It’s Saturday Night)’ will certainly pull those memories back to the front of your mind,” Wilbert continued on the track. “I’ve been musically influenced by iconic artists like George Strait, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Alabama, and my all time favorite Merle Haggard. So I think fans of those artists will dig the songs I’ve recorded and put on this album!”
