The EP continues the bold, emotionally charged sound that Daughtry ushered in with "Part One."
The radio single "The Bottom" is the perfect example of the band's creative and emotional evolution . Sonically, it's a dark, groovy anthem, carried by Chris Daughtry's distinctive vocals. The track's theme is about survival and self-reflection . The chorus, "I was down in a hole until I clawed my way back from the bottom," hits right at the heartstrings and sets the tone for everything to come.
