This announcement is quite a shocker: Singer Hannes, founding member, voice, producer, songwriter, and frontman of KISSIN' DYNAMITE, is stepping down from the microphone after nearly 20 years as singer and over 1,000 shows played around the globe. This does NOT mean that the band is breaking up or that Hannes is leaving; he will simply no longer be the singer. To mark the end of the era with him on vocals, the band is announcing “THE BIG GOODBYE” arena shows, KISSIN' DYNAMITE's biggest shows to date. All dates can be found below, with presales starting on September 19, 2025, at 12:00.
This is what Hannes has to say about his departure:
“Since its founding in 2007 (and even in the five years before that as ”The Blues Kids"), KISSIN' DYNAMITE has always had only one direction—forward! There was only an accelerator and no brakes. I think that's what sets us apart. We don't do things halfway. We literally always go full speed ahead, whether on stage or off."
And this “full speed ahead” approach has taken them far. The hit album “Back With A Bang” earned the band their first #1 spot in the official German album charts and includes legendary songs such as “The Devil Is A Woman” (2024, #3 in the German rock radio charts) and the ode to life “Raise Your Glass” (2024, #1 in the German rock radio charts). The current radio single “Queen Of The Night” is another stadium rock anthem that packs a punch. Hannes Braun is incredibly proud of this journey they have taken together. But he has to admit something important to himself:
"Over the years, this touring life has become something that really takes a toll on my health. It's not the 90 minutes on stage, but the constant traveling, the lack of sleep, the pressure, and the stress of everyday life on tour that wear me down. At some point in life, you just have to do the “right” thing to protect yourself and your health. And I have now come to this realization. And I thank myself for it.
In recent years, I have felt more and more like a brake when it comes to touring with the band. I wanted less, but that's not compatible with our plan to “go to the top.” So I'm letting go here, not only for self-protection, but also out of love.
I will continue to be the songwriter, producer, and, if you will, captain of our ship. With my full focus on these areas and a new, motivated person on the mic, I see a truly bright future ahead. We wouldn't be the first band to pull off this feat."
