FATAL VISION Release "If You Ever Get Lonely"

Canadian melodic rock band Fatal Vision return with a powerful new standalone single, a reimagined version of “If You Ever Get Lonely”, originally recorded by John Waite. Now available on all major streaming platforms, the track showcases Fatal Vision’s ability to breathe new life into a beloved classic while making it distinctly their own.

While staying true to the emotional depth and lyrical vulnerability of the original, Fatal Vision’s version introduces a more electrified arrangement and a powerful vocal interplay between Simon Marwood and Christine Corless. The result is a beautifully romantic and melancholic rendition, blending soaring guitar work and rich harmonies that elevate the song into a contemporary Melodic Rock ballad.

Simon Marwood, lead vocalist of Fatal Vision, shares: “We are very excited to release our version of “If You Ever Get Lonely” - John Waite has been one of my favourite artists since I was in high school and this is such a powerful message, which was truly a joy to bring to life. Christine and I love doing duets together, and this one just called to us. And it lets us kick off our new season of videos with an exciting twist!”

This release follows the band’s acclaimed third studio album, Three Times Lucky, released on November 22 via Art of Melody Music / Burning Minds Music Group. The album featured 15 original tracks and collaborations with legendary artists including Jeff Scott Soto, Paul Laine, and Joel Hoekstra, establishing Fatal Vision as a key player in today’s Melodic Rock scene.

Unlike the tracks from Three Times Lucky, “If You Ever Get Lonely” stands alone, a gift to fans to close out the year with a blend of nostalgia, passion, and Fatal Vision’s signature Melodic Rock soul.
