The recipe from the menu books of Italian composer, guitarist, keyboarder, orchestrator and lyricist Cristiano Filippini relies on proven ingredients: stable, brilliant backing band plus real classical instruments (violin, viola, double bass, cello, grand piano).
„I dedicated myself to composition and the turning point was the meeting with Simone Mularoni who created, following my guidelines, a spectacular sound, the right person at the right time.“
A cultural bridging between Italy and Japan - the manga “Saint Seiya” by Masami Kurumada - delivered the lyrical inspiration for seven of the thirteen songs. According to Cristiano Filippini three numbers have distinct autobiographical backgrounds. Two instrumental pieces do act as overture and closure of the album.
Compositions for Theaters and Cathedrals
