Newcomer Trace Nixon’s Much-Anticipated Debut EP, HAND ME DOWN NAME Out Now

Newcomer Trace Nixon’s much-anticipated debut EP, HAND ME DOWN NAME, arrives tomorrow and brings a modern perspective and old-soul insight to traditional Country. Fans can watch Trace this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. CDT as he performs on WSMV TV's Today In Nashville and catch him tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 3) on WSM Radio/Circle Country TV’s "Coffee, Country & Cody" at 9:15 a.m. CDT. HAND ME DOWN NAME offers fresh, vibrant music with inflections of ‘90s Country, Southern Rock and Bluegrass and marks a major turning point for this singer/songwriter. “These aren’t just songs going out into the world - they’re a small part of me,” says the native Virginian. “This is the road that’s been calling my name for years, and I’ve put everything I have into it.” Nixon’s conviction is evident in each of the five original tracks found on the EP.
