Beartooth to the rescue!

On Friday, it was announced that Alice In Chains' headlining show set for Sunday at the Sonic Temple Music Festival would be canceled.

The festival released the announcement from Alice In Chains, which said:

"After careful consideration and following the advice of medical professionals, we have made the decision to cancel our upcoming festival performances and the Alice In Chains headline shows.

While we were all eager to return to the stage, Sean's health is our top priority at this moment. Although the issue requires immediate attention, his long term prognosis is positive.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

Soon the festival took to social media to announce that Beartooth would be taking Alice In Chains' place at the festival, writing:

"Danny Wimmer called and Beartooth answered. Stoked to add these hometown heroes to tomorrow's main stage lineup--a nearly impossible feat in 48 hours, but this is what the rock community is all about. This will be their first show back in their hometown since the massive arena play at The Schott back in January.

The Columbus boys are stepping up to rep OH tomorrow on the Temple Stage at 6:20pm!"
