The Home Team Unleashes Deluxe Edition of The Crucible Of Life

The Home Team is ready to turn up the heat with the deluxe edition of their acclaimed album The Crucible Of Life, arriving this Friday, June 13th via Thriller Records. This expanded release breathes new life into the band’s sonic journey, headlined by an extended version of "All Squeezed Out" that showcases the group’s collaborative spirit and creative evolution.

The Crucible Of Life deluxe edition transforms the already compelling original album into an even richer exploration of sound. This isn’t just a handful of bonus tracks tacked onto the end––it’s a thoughtful expansion that deepens the album’s emotional arc and gives longtime fans new reasons to dive back in. With new songs, extended arrangements, and exciting collaborations, the release reveals fresh dimensions of the band’s creative identity. Every addition feels purposeful, painting a fuller picture of what The Crucible Of Life was always meant to be.

THE HOME TEAM - All Squeezed Out (Extended) ft. Arrows In Action & Saxl Rose

While the extended "All Squeezed Out" serves as the deluxe edition’s emotional centerpiece, its themes of toxic attraction and emotional exhaustion ripple through the rest of the record. The song captures that push and pull dynamic of being both drawn to and drained by someone who is wrong for you––a relationship that leaves you second guessing yourself but still unable to let go. The track’s title itself speaks to that feeling of being completely spent, emotionally wrung out by someone who takes everything and leaves you with nothing but the remnants of what once was. Featuring Arrows In Action and Saxl Rose, this expanded version highlights The Home team’s willingness to lean into collaboration and their instinct for knowing when a song still has more ground to cover.

All Squeezed Out was only ever a short song because we didn’t exactly know where it was going or what it needed to be complete, but for how short it is, we loved what it did for the album.” The Home Team explains. “For the deluxe, it made a lot of sense that we extend it and bring in other musicians that we knew would elevate the song. Honestly, I don’t know if we could’ve picked a better pair of musicians for it!
