Cory Marks Returns with New Rock Single "Hangman"

Country rocker CORY MARKS has unleashed the radio single "Hangman" - the explosive opener of his upcoming album "Sorry for Nothing Volume 2", an 11-track work of art, which was broadcast on the 3rd. October on Better Noise Music.

The radio single "Hangman" hits you like a storm: Country roughness hits directly on arena rock. With heavy guitars, and lyrics full of defiance, it is a dark hymn about rebellion, justice and fighting to the end. MARKS describes it as the voice of a convict who looks the executioner defiantly in the eye - but at the same time also as his own statement not to bow to the rules as an artist.

Marks was inspired, among other things, by his successful European tour in the spring, where he conquered a new audience with his energetic mix of country and rock. This experience has additionally shaped the sound of Sorry for Nothing Volume 2. The album was produced by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Shania Twain), Kile Odell and Andrew Baylis, and it shows MARKS stronger, more uncompromising and more direct than ever.

We can't wait to see this man with us again. This fall, CORY will first bring his powerful energy to the stage in the USA – as a special guest at Sevendust on their Southside Double-Wide Tour.
