‘The Pitt’ Season 1 Is Headed To TNT

Warner Bros. Discovery is now making The Pitt available to a much wider audience (or at least to those who have decided they don’t want to pay for another subscription service): Season one of the acclaimed HBO Max drama is heading to TNT for everyone to enjoy.

Warner Bros. Television Group CEO Channing Dungey officially made the exciting announcement on Wednesday during the WBD upfront event. The highly anticipated first season will air on the network before the season two premiere hits HBO Max, giving fans a chance to catch up.

The Pitt lead actor Noah Wyle himself was present at the presentation this Wednesday to personally introduce Dungey and share the inspiration behind his compelling new drama, created by John Wells and R. Scott Gemmill.

“When we started this journey, our vision with The Pitt was to create a series that went beyond just telling stories about medical cases and instead focused on the lives of the people behind those cases,” he said, addressing the advertising crowd. “Our aim was to highlight the hardworking and dedicated individuals who consistently sacrifice in service of others, within a healthcare system that’s fraying and feels like it’s on the brink of collapse. The purpose was to bring audiences into those raw and relatable life-and-death moments, the ones that make us cheer for each and every character on the show, because they all come across as real people we’ve met, facing real crises with genuine needs and stakes that matter deeply.”
