Emerging female country artist Belles debuts her brand-new single, “Broken In Boots”. The heartbreak anthem is available now across all streaming platforms.

Co-written with songwriter Johnny Gates, “Broken In Boots” draws inspiration from a past relationship that sparked and ended on Nashville’s iconic Broadway. The song delves into the emotional weight of heartbreak, capturing the feeling of being lost in a place that once felt like home. With vivid imagery of worn-out boots and familiar streets, it paints a picture rooted in the very spot where he left her. Recorded at Sound Emporium in Nashville, Tennessee and produced by Johnny Gates, this song captures the raw emotion following a breakup and stands as a powerful anthem that so many can turn to when they need a good cry.

“‘Broken In Boots’ was inspired by a true story…one I know so many of my fans can relate to," Belles shares. The moral of the story is to not buy matching cowboy boots with a boyfriend because he might blindside you the next week and leave you broken in boots!”

“Broken In Boots” follows the release of Belles’ music video for her single “Happy Hour”. "Happy Hour" cleverly plays on the familiar phrase, telling the story of longing for just one fleeting hour of joy and connection with someone. With lyrics like, "I'd give for one happy hour, one where your kiss is sweet and not sour," the song captures the bittersweet desire for a moment of harmony. The music video, shot at the Bowery Vault in East Nashville, emphasizes the solitude of this yearning emotion, reflecting the quiet ache for peace in a relationship. With its steady tempo, resonant drums, and melodic guitar, the track evokes a vintage feel that beautifully enhances the emotional narrative of the song. The music video was directed by Sydney Tooley and the director of photography was Corbin Schmidt.

Belles has released several singles leading up to “Broken In Boots”, including “Porcelain,” a vulnerable track, highlighting themes of love and deep affection. The music video for "Porcelain" was featured on CMT Music's 12-Pack, alongside her earlier release "What in the Truck," which reached number 2. You can watch the official music video for “Porcelain” and “What in the Truck”. Belles also recently made a special appearance, showcasing her song "Porcelain" with a live performance on Today in Nashville.

Hailing from Nebraska, Belles has been making waves in Nashville since 2018, captivating audiences with her heartfelt, witty storytelling. Her songs, co-written with some of the city's top songwriters, have garnered over 70 million streams and views across all platforms.
