Acclaimed vocalist and songwriter Morgan Myles releases her powerful new single “Que Sera Serenade,” now available across all streaming platforms. Written alongside Gary Nichols (former lead vocalist of The SteelDrivers, following Chris Stapleton), and produced by multi-GRAMMY-winning producer Ross Hogarth, the track is a soul-stirring anthem about resilience and self-worth.
“Que Sera Serenade” was the final song Myles wrote out of 80 tracks for her forthcoming Americana-leaning album. The song draws inspiration from the anthemic spirit of Bruce Springsteen, while rooted in raw, acoustic Americana tones.
“This song has taken on a whole new meaning for me.” Myles shares. “I wrote it just before one of the most difficult personal decisions of my life – ending a wedding engagement. It’s now become my healing anthem, my reminder that letting go is sometimes the strongest thing you can do. 'Que sera sera' means what will be, will be – and this song is about trusting that truth, reclaiming your freedom, and having faith in what lies ahead.”
Co-written in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the legendary birthplace of Southern soul, “Que Sera Serenade” blends introspection with empowerment. Myles’ soaring five-octave vocals bring a fiery sense of liberation to the track, making it a must-hear for anyone navigating heartbreak, growth, or new beginnings.
"I’ll never forget my first writing session with Morgan Myles.” says Nichols. “We connected instantly. Her voice had me hooked from the start, and since then, we’ve co-written several songs, including two favorites: 'Love Is Lonesome' and 'How Does That Sound.' Singing with her on this project was the icing on the cake, with Ross Hogarth’s incredible production. If you haven’t discovered Morgan yet, get ready to be a fan for life."
David Grissom, who played on the entire upcoming album and co-wrote "Fault Lines" and "Moment of Mercy" with Myles shares, "It was blast co-writing a couple of tunes with Morgan and Helen Darling for Morgan’s badass new record, and a joy to hear those songs come to life in the studio. We cut the record live with a great band and Morgan singing full throttle on every take. One of my favorite projects to have played on in a long time!"
The single falls on the heels of her most recent single “How Does That Sound” and follows the success of her recent release Live at Apogee Studio, a raw and compelling live album recorded in a single take and mixed by Bob Clearmountain. With her signature authenticity and unmatched vocal power, Myles continues to cement her place as one of Americana and country music’s most magnetic rising voices.
Myles first captured national attention as a top-three finalist on NBC’s The Voice (Team Camila), where she earned the fastest four-chair turn in the show’s history. She has since performed over 100 shows a year, including a widely praised debut at the Grand Ole Opry, and has been featured by Billboard, CMT, People, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, amongst others. Myles also recently concluded her successful Exclusive First Listen Tour, where she gave fans an intimate preview of new material at select venues across the country.
Now signed to Blue Élan Records, Myles is poised for a landmark year as she continues releasing new music that blends soul, strength, and storytelling.
